News Flash:  (February, 2012)  According to CMHC (Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, an Canadian governmental agency), new homes construction activity is up considerably in the Metro Vancouver region.  CMHC's statistics indicated that more than 1,550 new homes construction commences in the metro Vancouver region, compared to about 1,430 in the same period last year (January, 2011) - an increase of about 8.3% year over year.  An indication that new homes demand remains very strong in the Metro Vancouver region (Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Delta, New Westminster, Surrey, White Rock, etc), and new home buyers continue the strong pace of searching and purchasing new homes in the healthy Metro Vancouver real estate new homes market.
